*As you help your child practice at home for the GA Milestones, please keep the following reading and math strategies in mind:
-Read the questions first! -Go back to the passage. (Good readers re-read!) -Underline (highlight) the answers in the passage. -Use the process of elimination and rule out answers that don’t make sense. -Highlight key math words that let you know what operation to use. (in all, altogether, find the difference, each, equal sharing, sum, product, how many more, how many fewer, quotient, etc.) -Use scratch paper to work out the math problems! Don’t guess!
